As software developers we all know the Betfair free API is limited to number of services it can offer and the number of times per minute the particular service can be accessed.

We start with free API because we want to try it, to learn something new and do it just for fun. Being software developers we tried to use our logical skills to build tools so that we could bet or trade at betfair.

Believe it or not but the BetfairExplorer is the first application I have programmed for myself, and I have been developing software since 1989, I have worked on countless projects in my career.

Back to what I wanted to say in this article: I worked on the BFexplorer software for a couple of months until I thought it was good enough for other people to use. We needed it to be published, downloaded and used by the Betfair community, as the application used the free API it has be free for our users as well.

For me it is enough that I can use my own application, but I would be good to get others to help us build it.
